Hi Anna I am a first timer here. I had been with doTERRA for many many years just not taking the time to do research on other oils. So now I would much prefer to seek out the smaller companies if I can afford it and buy their oils. Quick question, first off I’ve been using oils for 10 years but my question is since the company itself is not allowed to say much what is your recommendation on ingesting oils meaning I should only purchase organic for that and also what about rubbing them on the body you are still absorbing them so I would assume those should be organic as well? Can you help me with that I’m just barely trying to navigate their website the one you recommended. Thank you!
For safety and health concerns, it’s definitely best to use “organic” and “steam distilled ” essential oils. I will also check the country of origin for specific plant essential oil and for possible soil contaminants. For instance, according to statistics, many plant-derived products from India, China, or Mexico tend to have high level of heavy metal contaminants. Also, make sure the product you purchase is tested by reputable 3rd party labs.
