혼자서 주말을 즐기는것을 슬프거나 지루한 일이라고 생각하는 사람들이 귀담아 들을 얘기네

When I worked in NYC in the 90s I used to get coffee from one of the kiosks on a corner, the guy was Iranian (I asked where he was from) and taught me a few words in Farsi which I used every day. He quickly learned my order. If there was a crowd I would just smile, greet him quickly, grab the already made coffee, put dowk the change (is was 55 cents!) and leave, if not, I would exchange a few words abt the weather or commiserate abt the Knicks. Lol ! I often wonder where he is now, my day was better bc of the interaction and I continue to do this in my life today, I now live part of the year in France and part in Spain so I get to do it in 2 other languages. Vamos, fait-le !
